A warm welcome from Marlene (and Mr Darcy!); a very comfortable room and bed; the best breakfast I had in NZ; and a great location, within minutes walk of the airport bus and transport to Aucklant centre. Great. Thank you.

Marlene was a wonderful and helpful hostess. We had some good meals the rest of the day, but the best by far was the breakfast that she and Claudia put together for us. We enjoyed sharing it with guests from around the world. And the location can't be beat with easy access to the light rail and walking distance to...

A wonderful introduction to the friendliness of NZ people. Our hostess couldn't do enough for us and our breakfasts were simply delicious.Just a short walk to the famous Eden Park rugby ground and a 15 minute train ride into the Auckland city centre.

I stayed at Eden Park on either end of a recent conference trip in New Zealand--one night on the way in and two nights on the way out. My luggage was lost by the airline on the way in and Marlene was so helpful, recommending nearby shops so that I could pick up a few essentials quickly before I left...
