Room....super clean. The beautiful Argentinian manager made our trip. We were in a bit of a bind with 2 dogs, a caravan and no place to stay. We parked caravan in back, dogs slept out there and we had a clean, quiet place to stay. Beds were super comfy. It's simple but nice people...safe, clean, convienient. Would go back.

Beautifully clean, well equipped and presented! But,....... the day we arrived there was a total power loss for 24 hours+ throughout the Gisborne area because of an aircraft accident. Nevertheless, the manager had generators in place - no electricity, no lights, but at least the gas hot water systems could operate. Even under the circumstances it was a really pleasant...

We loved our 2N stay. The staff are charming and looked after us well. Our room had a king sized bed, high quality towels and toiletries. It was a bonus to have 2 armchairs. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. We had just spent 4 days cycling in Napier so it was lovely to enjoy being by the pool...

Stayed here for one night and it was superior to the places I had stayed before/after it. The room was clean and well equipped. The kitchen area was perfect and the little breakfast bar was great to eat at and work from. The table and chairs outside caught the sun perfectly- I could have stayed here a while! Really friendly...

I stayed at Eastland Motor Lodge over Labour weekend. The motel is well constructed so you are not bothered by other guests in adjoining units. The staff were invariably helpful and friendly. Also our towels were changed every day - and all the rubbish taken away. This doesn't happen everywhere but we certainly appreciated this service. Thank you Eastland Motel...

Had our first ever road trip to Gisborne and due to the fact that it was very spontaneous, we never researched a place to stay. As we were driving into Gisborne, this was the first place we noticed, with a sign saying Studio $95. As we were only going to be overnight, we thought why not. We got shown to...

We stayed here one night with about 22 of us for an event in Gisborne. The rooms were really reasonable and very CLEAN. We all had a cooked breakfast in the morning and it was great. Bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, scrambled eggs baked beans and toast, percolated coffee for a great price. If you are booking a large group the...

This is one of the best value for money motels we have stayed in anywhere in New Zealand. The unit we had was in excellent condition, very roomy, quiet and everything we needed was provided. It's a little further from the town centre than other places but still just a few minutes away by car.. Very impressed.

Clean units, 3 beds in separate room, double in lounge. Kitchen well-equipped, could have done with more power points though. Best thing was the salt water pool, plenty of sun lounges and umbrellas for a nice time by the pool.
