In its time it was good but time has gone by and this old government converted building is needing a refurbish.

Stayed for two nights. Staff very courteous and accomodating. Meals were very nice, although serve was slow for what was a quiet night for one of the nights. Clean rooms and well presented. Good location for my needs and close to CBD.

Well located for a stroll around Gisborne. Parking is good. Free Wi-Fi. Corridors are long but this is primarily due to the way th ehotel is constructed around the central courtyard.

The rooms are spacious warm, well appointed and clean.
The establishment has a bar and a restaurant. The food was excellent.
Probably the best Beef Wellington I've ever had.
