Altogether an excellent stay with two brilliant people. Tip top! We could not have asked for a warmer welcome and to be so well looked after. The room was very clean and comfortable and had excellent facilities. The catering was delicious. We thoroughly recommend Shailers.

One of the best accommodations/ farm stays on the north island. Diana and Charlie are true kiwi's. Great hosts. Very nice dairy farm. Very knowledgeable about their great country. Charlie gives a excellent tour of his farm and others nearby with his RTV.

My wife and I stayed for just one night in mid December, but it was long enough to know that Dianna and Charlie treat their guests with genuine warmth and attentiveness. Upon our arrival Dianna served us tea, juice and cake on the patio patio just outside our room, which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast, including a superb fruit cup,...

Greetings Peter from Shailers. Thank you so much for submitting a very informative review. It was a great pleasure for us to have you stay and show you around our farm. Just one small correction that the sheep you have referred to are actually goats :) At the time of your visit there were 700 in the raising barn. 500...

We stayed at Shailers right after flying to NZ and it certainly made a perfect start to our vacation. The room was spotlessly clean and the food was spectacular. We had dinner in Shailers one night and the mussels were the best we had ever had. We dined at the deck overlooking the garden, a perfect setting for meals regardless...

We arrived at Charlie and Dianna's house somewhat tired after a few days of busy sight-seeing and we were looked after really well. After showing us around their lovely house and upgrading us from the room we had booked to the largest (as we were the only guests that night), we were invited to have tea on the covered deck...
