Arrived very late at night to a very clean and basic room with a very clean and basic en-suite. Free breakfast and wi-fi, comfy, clean beds. Toby the dog was welcoming and Jeff the manager was just wonderful. Highly recommend and would love to stay again. Many thanks Jeff

A week before i arrived i made a booking over the phone, because their website doesnt work. I was promised to be booked in, unfortunately when i arrived i was told that there is no booking for me. The owner told me he forgot about it. Unfortunately they were booked out, but the owner was kind enough to drive me...

The outside of the building is fantastic and very charming. The bed was comfy but the rest of the place needs a bit of a refresh. The kitchens were so overwhelmed with people that they quickly became quite messy. Staff seemed friendly enough but it seemed more like a free for all and no real area with info about the...

Love this hostel. Have stayed here for a month and I am planning on staying a month longer. The atmosphere in the hostel is homely and I became comfortable within a week. The facilities are excellent, there is free WiFi, free breakfast until 9.30am and the hostel is clean and cleaned daily. It is also in a perfect location, with...

This hostel had it's good and bad elements. Location was very central to everything, but I found that the town had a yuppy feel to it - lots expensive things that are hard to afford on a backpackers budget. The staff were really lovely and friendly and I really loved the art deco design, but there were things that needed...

Kay is the loveliest person I've ever met. We are like a big family and it's not expensive as well. The breakfast is from 7:30- 9:30. You can knock at her door evertime. The service is very very nice in there.

Stayed here to channel them art deco vibes and I was not disappointed. Lovely place to stay, clean rooms, spacious kitchen & common area. Wifi was good. Breakfast provided in the morning. Geoff & Kay were very friendly and helpful. Great location -close to all the shops, art deco center, beach and supermarkets are within 10min walk away.

I spend 3 nights here and it is a greah hostel for backpackers. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are VERY clean (THANK YOU!!). The staff is super helpful and polite. I was missing 2$ in cash for my payment and the receptionist was just like "nah, it's fine". Really enjoyed my stay here. The only thing was that my...

If you like art deco, you'll like it here. Loads of character, great communal space, nice rooms that are in the process of being done up, and great location in the centre of town. And the staff were friendly too.

This hostel is full of character! The common areas are done in an old lounge style making them unique, spacious, and a great place to chill. Also features a second floor balcony which is a great place to watch the hustle and bustle on a sunny day. Excellent well equipped kitchen that has everything you need. A great choice for...
