Jane and Doug are superb hosts, making our Solomon Islands guests feel very at home. Thank you so much. We especially enjoyed the grapes and figs, and enjoyed the fresh beans and tomatoes from your garden. Will look forward to returning sometime.

This is everything that other travellers have mentioned. Jane is a perfect host and the breakfast on the balcony is to die for. We were blessed with perfect weather and clear night skies to watch the stars. The TV is not necessary in the room as the view from the window is enough. We had the apartment which was brilliant...

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our NZ North Island trip. We enjoyed the time in all the places we stayed, however this was the best. The views, the accommodation, the breakfasts, the proximity to the beach and swimming, the host Jane, all were first class. We would recommend this B&B to all on Trip Advisor....

Fantastic host and an awesome place to stay. The view when you wake up is unique! Jane is so nice and helps you in all matters. Every morning she serves a selfmade breakfast at the veranda with view over the sea. A dream! Steffen, Dresden

We recently had 2 wonderful nights in Paihia. The accommodation was great, the views from the room amazing. Jane was a wonderful host, with great breakfasts, good recommendations and really good, interesting conversation. Would have no hesitation in returning if in this beautiful part of New Zealand again.

I spent two days here at the beginning of my 3 week stay in NZ. Jane was wonderfully accommodating, including making sure my breakfasts were gluten free. My room had a fantastic view of the water, allowing me to sit out on the patio and read a book, drink a glass of wine and watch the boats. Jane had great...

After 2 soggy days in Auckland we ventured up to Paihia and the sun came out at last! We were so happy to spend 3 lovely days in this idyllic spot with views that you would never become tired of. Jane and Doug were most welcoming along with their adorable moggy, Malika. It was lovely to feel part of their...

We recently spent 3 relaxing nights in this wonderful bed and breakfast in the Bay of Islands. Our host Jane couldn't do enough for us. Plenty of good suggestions about what to see in the area and nothing was a bother. The breakfasts were wonderful and the views are amazing (both from our room and at breakfast). The rooms were...

We stayed with Jane and Doug for 4 nights towards the end of our 5 week tour around NZ. After travelling approx 4000km and staying in 17 different B&B's/Hotels/Motels mostly for 1 or 2 nights at a time, we were looking forward to spending a few relaxing days in one place. And 'At The Beach' did not disappoint! It is...

If I could I would give 4 1/2 stars. The views from the room were breathtaking. The location is close to restaurants and attractions yet, perched on a bluff in a VERY quite location. We were in the king room which had a very comfortable king bed in one room a second bed in a second room and a kitchen...
