Nice park run by great people. Beautiful views of the falls, nice facilities, heaps to do for families. Caught some nice fish right in front of camp, kids hired the kayaks available in the park and had a ball. It's the perfect spot to base yourself for the touristy stuff around town We will definately be back!!

We recently took our caravan to the Haruru Falls Resort and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful spot where we were camped. The facilities were excellent but the kitchen may be a bit small over the high season. The pool and the BBQ area were very well located and the camp sites along the river front were very picturesque. The other camp... More

We pulled up in a camper van with my brother sister in law and mum in another camper van We found the ladie/s whom run at reception were absolutely helpful, great knowledge about the location Keep up the Great Work. We noted the owners in the morning were doing tai chi, looked great we found them later cutting trees picking... More

We are in a motorhome and were initially going to stay 2-3 nights. Ended up staying much longer. The location cannot be beaten. Looking straight onto the falls. Whilst the resort is "tired" the new owners are making a huge difference already. They would be well advised to keep the wonderful friendly staff they have - particularly Heather. Nothing was... Overall enjoyed our stay, son loved the pool and fishing off the small wharf. Availability of kayaks to paddle around the falls was a bonus and well priced at $10 per person for an hour. Facilities in dire need a spruce up particularly the kitchen which was dirty. Five minute drive from Paihia town which was a enjoyable experience

This campsite is located just north of Paihia ideal for exploring Waitangi, Bay of Islands, Russell and of course Paihia itself. It is set at the foot of Haruru Falls with great views across the Waitangi river. The site has a huge swimming pool which is child friendly and a playground for the kids, and the showers and toilets are... More

Great place to stay at.. Loved the peace and quiet. Rooms were satisfactory to stay in. On a humid day, it would be nice to have A/C. Great view of the Haruru Falls Too bad café area was under construction during our stay. Overall, loved it. First time experience.

We stayed here for just one night, thankfully, we were in a campervan so didn't have to use the facilities more than once. The website doesn't mention that the restaurant is not open, this meant us having to nip down to the countdown supermarket to have dinner that night. Toilets and showers are dirty. Rubbish bins were overflowing. This is... More

A wonderful location let down by sub-standard accommodation. The room smelt musty and the decor looked very tired. The advertised restaurant did not exist "because we've sold up and are leaving". We stayed two nights (on a prior booking) and the room was not serviced. One can only hope that the new proprietors will take their obligations more seriously.
