Awesome spot. Very relaxing (when dog not barking). The only thing that let's this accommodation down is no information book in room about the resort and not all that clean. Tea towels gross. Pool a little cloudy also.

We have stayed in many North Island campgrounds over the years and this was by far the most expensive and disappointing. Our arrival was greeted by a harried owner who told us camp rules and slapped wristbands on us, our car was then shunted around the site due to crammed in campers. Kitchen and toilet block facilities were shocking; always... More

It's a shame, because it is a amaing location, but I would never stay here again, nor recommend this place to anyone. Camp sites were ok, but the facilities like the pool and bbq area were old and tired. The bathrooms were disgusting! The same bar of soap was left on the floor in the shower for the three days... I was really disappointed. We showed up on new years eve with high expectations paying $340 per night and staying for 3 nights staying in a premium room for my family. I was my first Christmas/New Years holiday in nearly 10 years cause im normally working so thought i would treat the family. We showed up to no running water... More

Booked in here as I was spending a few days with my sister who is in a stroke rehabilitation unit nearby. I chose this place as it had a restaurant, it was very handy to where my sister was, and it had a pool. I called the day prior to my arrival to book and sought confirmation that the restaurant... Don't stay here if you think you are getting '4 star resort accomodation' for $350 a night. We stayed in their top advertised room only to come out extremely disappointed. Wifi is misleading - only 20 mins per person with very limited access (couldn't even use it from our room). Bathroom floor was always wet from leaks in the shower.... More

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! When i booked the cottage I was excited to arrive but that excitement soon disappeared when we were shown our room and the facility blocks. The cottage was so dirty that we didn't even want to put our bags down and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. When we arrived we were told rules that weren't on... More

One of best things about this facility is the close proximity to the falls and river which give a great ambiance. The second is the pool which is large, clean and well laid out. Unfortunately that's where the good points stop. We were camping and thought the facilities (kitchen, bathrooms etc.) were all quite old which can sometimes be ok... More

Amazing location! So wonderful falling asleep listening to the falls. The pool, chess and trampoline were all great entertainment for both kids and adults. Kitchen was great and clean. However, bathrooms were dirty, lights burnt out, no water at times, toilets closed at times. Garbage from campers left sitting on the grass for days. Kitchen was hardly ever open. Lights... More

Hururu Falls Resort view is really nice place but never judge book from cover. We booked 2 premium rooms and when we entered in, it was fish smell and lots of insects near to Kitchen and bathroom. Coffee mugs were not cleaned and major things is we stayed for 2 nights and next day room service, they changed bed sheet,... More
