Great location, very friendly staff, clean communal areas, swimming pool and hot tub! Walking distance to the nearest shops and beaches. I stayed here in Winter but I imagine it would be even better in summer!

The staff were so friendly and helpful whilst we stayed here. The hostel is clean and well kept. There was staff in the evening doing more cleaning too. The beds in the dorms are really comfortable. Having free wifi is amazing, and a Skype phone to call home for free. It's a great base to explore northland and some amazing...

We spent two nights staying in a private room at this backpackers and were very happy with the experience. We arrived late and had a key left for us with clear check in instructions. The room was basic but quite nice and the shared bathroom was tidy and always free. Would definitely recommend. The place has a pool as well...

Stayed here for a few nights when I first got to paihia, really cool place to stay and all the staff are cool to hang out with, they know a lot about the town and are really helpful. The hostel itself is good size with a few kitchen and the Nintendo wii. It's a bit of a party hostel so...

Booked a 6 dorm for 2 nights. Was expecting a big party hostel. Instead, had the most quiet nights of my whole stay in New Zealand. Beds were really good. Staff is really nice and you can notice the good atmosphere of the team. Bathrooms were clean, there is a pool and hot tub. Keep your rooms locked is kinda...

really nice place. Party place. Rooms really big. Common area well equiped. The host really helpful. Everything clean. Good value for the money you pay. Great common area outside - where guests gather and drink and chat together. Close to the beach.

We came here as a small group after some friends in Auckland recommend it and we weren't disappointed. The young guy in reception upgraded us to a larger room with a bathroom and balcony so we were all together which was excellent. Although we didn't have time there was a hot tub and tennis courts available, pool looked a bit...

We were in a standard 6 bed dorm, room was cosy and tidy, plenty of storage in the built in lockers. Staff were very friendly and were able to book us on a great sailing trip around the bay. Great facilities including tennis courts! Tip: Relax in the hot spa and enjoy the night sky!

The overall vibe of this hostel is unbeatable. Friendly and reliable staff, coupled with access to a pool/spa, free wifi, and free tennis courts makes it one of the more high end backpackers Iv stayed at. Great nightlife, stones throw from the beach and the bars! Would recommend it to anyone who is starting off travelling solo, and looking to...
