Awful stayed, run down cabins, probably last time renovated in the 70s', if it is not sunny you would be freezing at night as wind blew inside wooden cabin, we even struggled just to open the sliding door with the key as it was too dated. We once arrived there, we couldn't find the reception as no indication whatsoever, we...

We booked ahead with the campsite and the staff know exactly who were were and when we were turning up. It is located about 3km's from central Paihia next to Haruru Falls. This is a good place to stay if you have access to your own vehicle as it's far enough away and a short time to central Pahia where...

The Twin Pines Holiday Park is a great place to stay either for motor homes or camping and a tent, they also have cabins. The facilities are kept very clean and tidy. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The camp sites are all weather.

Tourist flat was self contained, included everything we needed including stove top, pans, utensils. Hosts were friendly and flat was clean. The entire campground could do with fresh paint, but it was clean and tidy so I can't complain. I would stay here again

We stayed in the tourist flat, which is reasonable value for money. It was clean and tidy but you could hear the buzzer from the office above everytime someone opened the door! The accommodation was good for the money we were just not impressed with the staff. We asked for an extra chair so we could sit and all eat...

We stayed two nights at this tourist park and occupied the double roomed flat next to the office. Well laid out if you need two bedrooms, a lounge and a kitchen and a shower room. The park has no swimming pool but there is plenty of space for BBQ. It is 3km from Paihia and 400 metres from the falls.

We stayed for a week at Hararu Falls with Dick and Katie in one of the chalets. It was basic but very functional for a family of five. The foam beds did get harder over the week but overall, we noticed how well run and maintained the facilities were. The communal kitchen and shower rooms were cleaned daily. Katie provided...

We stayed here in early December. Despite there being a bus load of people also staying on the site, we enjoyed a peaceful stay and the facilities were clean and tidy. It was our first night in our camper after a long drive from Auckland and the site manager made the effort to check that we OK plugging in the...

We arrived without a booking and the lady at reception took great care to find us a spot away from all the groups of teens where we could relax and also were very helpful with suggesting a beautiful running track for us. Each tent site had access to water which was a nice touch and the cooking/lounge facilities are great....

Just a few minutes drive out of Paihia. As a family of 2ad 2chd doing a self drive, we were looking for self contained accom and a little room to spread out. This accom ticked all our boxes and was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the 2brm Tourist flat, which was built in under the main house/office. The owners...

“We had the two bedroom family unit. Looking at the photos on the website, we definitely wouldn't have booked the one bedroom unit, even though it slept four. The linen was crispy clean, the carpets and paint looked new.”

“The chalets are probably like camping almost in terms of basic room with foam mattress beds- possibly lilos are more giving! But powered and with little fridge. You could look at the apartments for better comfort or just camp- if you have a tent - great sites.”
