We had a studio unit which was very small for 4 of us. The owner claims to have informed us of this but I never received any correspondence or we would have changed our room. The location is great, just out off town but only a 5-10 minute walk. The kitchenette was great and separate from the main bedroom which...

We had a two bedroom unit with a small kitchen. The unit is set up for a person in a wheelchair with a big bathroom and seat in shower. The double bed was comfortable and the unit is clean. The owners are helpful and best of all is close to the waterfront. It has a swimming pool which children seemed...

Jim and Trish were very helpful and informative about the area. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. The proximity to the downtown area is good, within about a ten minute walk. There are several restaurants on the way as well as many around the harbor area.

We had a studio room which was very compact but had what we needed, as we were only staying one night. The room was spotless, the bathroom modern and clean and an alcove which housed coffee making facilities and a microwave; plus a cupboard with cups, plates, cutlery etc. There was also a television and a table and chairs. The...

Three of us (one couple and a single) booked two rooms for 5 nights. This was our first time in NZ and the Edelweiss was just want we needed to kick off our stay. Trish was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious and clean with balconies. We had rooms next to each other, which was convenient. Handy kitchenette...

Trish & Jim were a great help to us in our first few days after me getting out of hospital, having had my broken leg fixed. Our accessible unit was comfy and had everything we needed as I got used to hopping about on my crutches. Everything was clean and tidy and it all worked. Debbie regularly popped her head...

Even though this was our first time at this motel we were greeted like long lost friends. As a Host accommodation site, they have rewards program but I had lost my dongle. Not a problem, it was sorted even though it took a full 15 mins of their time to do so. I really appreciated people that go the extra...

Edelweiss is a lovely older style motel very central in Paihia. For folks wanting to be close to party central, this location is ideal. Just a short walk to numerous restaurants and night spots. The motel was excellent with everything one would expect at the price point plus the heated pool and the spa. Well done folks. Short walk also...

We had two studio units booked overnight and they were clean and basic. The beds were comfortable. The position of the motel is great. It is on the main road into Paihia making it easy to find and there is an excellent restaurant a short distance away, round the corner towards the town. Owners were nice and helpful. I would...
