Let me start this review by first saying a big THANK YOU to our hostess Vivien, owner of B&B@The Redwoods! Vivien made our stay so comfortable even before it started (she provided advice on Rotorua's sites & sounds via email 6 months prior to our checking in i.e. when i had just made an on-line booking). And that's really what...

We booked at short notice having arrived in Rotorua and looked for accommodation at the i site and could not have chosen better. Vivien made us very welcome, and her homemade cake and tea was much appreciated after our long journey. Our accommodation was very spacious and well appointed. Vivien is very knowledgable on where to eat and what to...

Our family from the US stayed at Redwoods in July. We couldn't have asked for a more lovely greeting from Vivian...she made us feel right at home with her homemade cake and tea, and made sure that we were well prepared for all of the attractions we had in mind. She is such a delight to talk to...warm, friendly and...

The stay at the B&B @ The Redwoods was a delightful experience. Vivian is a "doll" greeting us warmly and going over and above to make us feel welcome. Her lemon fruit cake, tea and helpful advice made us feel extra special. Our luggage was lost by the airlines and Vivian personally called them on several occasions advocating for us...

We were visiting from the USA and spent a couple nights at the Redwoods B&B. Vivien went out of her way to make us feel comfortable on our national holiday. The property is ideally situated close to the redwood forest. We rented bikes from the bike shop across the street and used that as our transportation in Rotorua. The mountain...

We have recently returned from a 2 night stay at Redwoods B&B. We arrived unannounced but Vivien was happy to provide us with accommodation even though she had just returned from family vacation. The B&B is located in a quiet part of town and away from the "fragrances" that characterise much of Rotarua. The rooms are spacious, sunny and extremely...

Located in just the right place for access to the forest and lake attractions of Rotorua. Vivenne was an engaging and thoughtful host making our visit very easy and providing lots of useful information. An outstanding cook, our breakfasts were delightful with an impromptu discussion about blueberry pancakes producing the best I have eaten the next morning. With a winter...

Perfect place to stay in Rotorua in all aspects. Vivien is a great host, she was waiting for me at the bus station and helped a lot during my stay with lots of information, recommendations and tips on what to see around. She prepared home made cakes and coffee, just as a super Mom. The breakfast was really yummy, freshly...

This was really a nice place to stay, the rooms were very private with everything you could ask for. Great wifi and very cosy. The dining and lounge was well stocked with extras such as fruit and cake for snacks and the breakfast was comprehensive. The host Vivien was quickly able to gauge what we were interested in and steered...
