My boyfriend and I stayed here in January and had a fantastic time. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help us. The hotel is associated with the Novotel next door too, thus the hotels share facilities which means that guests have access to geothermal spas and an incredibly good value all you can eat seafood...

Hotel clean and comfortable, plenty of free parking, but the wifi is so poor as to be virtually unusable, despite complaining, the IT dept were unable to make the system better, local free wifi in Eat Street was lightning fast

Its centrally located within the heart of the restaurant distract. The polynesian spa is a 15 minute walk from the hotel.I have to admit I'm a fan of ibis hotels. The staff at our hotel were welcoming and friendly as always. The only downside on this stay was the bed and room we were allocated. We had a standard room....

As a frequent user of the Ibis Hotels in New Zealand and Europe, this one was the most disappointing. Our booking date was incorrect but was dealt with upon arrival, after half an hour of the receptionist fiddling. Our 2 grandchildren were unable to have tea at the bar during checkin as the member of staff was 'unavailable'. The receptionist...

Such nice personnel! Olivia and Dave could not have been more pleasant and helpful. That really makes a night enjoyable. Good location near restaurants, lake, and the complimentary hot springs next door.

We planned to visit Rotorua and chose Ibis Rotorua due to it's proximity to the township. The location is outstanding. We were very happy with the comfortable room. Not big, but enough room for a fabulous king sized bed. The staff were all welcoming and very helpful. Thank you.

We stayed 1 night which is fine. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small. There is no safe in the room. They share a thermal pool with Novotel next door. It's quite a trek out in the open. The thermal pool and sauna is wonderful but be prepared for the rotten egg smell! And then there's the trek back...

Found the place easily, lots of parking and very easy access to the city. Nice and quiet room but the best part would have to be Dave. Very welcoming despite being near the end of his shift. Happy to get us extra pillows!
