The location cannot be beat. However, it is the staff which makes this place top notch. They were always friendly. We arrived and they spent 15 minutes explaining to us what sites we should visit. They we ready with maps or brochures for everything. The rooms are wonderful, clean and very modern. Only complaint would be that there was a...

You are made to feel welcome the moment you step in the door! Friendliness and attention to detail in 1br suite was excellent. Unusual black and white decor with quirky pieces adds to ambience. Dinner in restaurant on a Monday night put staff under pressure but handled with grace. Stayed there a couple of years earlier and the standard has...

The Regent, the owners and the staff are all first class and wonderfully warm... The room was decorated in a fun, hip and very comfortable furnishings...awesome chairs to chill out in to review the spectacular time spent in Rotorua. Dinner was exceptional "lamb" and great selection of wines.. Most of all the care the owners take to make you feel...

I have nothing negative to share on this b & b...the owners couldn't be nicer, more accommodating or caring! The hotel is spotless, rooms are well appointed and very fresh. This place was such a pleasant surprise. It was so much more than we expected, from the service to the décor to the facilities. Staff and owners are so friendly, the rooms are lovely, modern, comfortable and very clean, and the in house restaurant is very highly rated in tripadvisor. It is also very centrally located, walking distance from everything...

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. It is very quaint. It looked to be once a standard motel, that has been re-done beautifully. We stayed in a executive studio and loved it. Room isn't overly large, but was fine for the 3 nights. I believe they also have one and two bedroom rooms as well as the standard....

We stayed at the Regent for two nights in Rotorua. It was the nicest place we saw on line, and when checking in were greeted with super friendly staff and a wonderful place. The pool was awesome, the mineral spa was great, and the people who worked there were super helpful and very friendly The rooms were also nice. All...

We booked this hotel based on the really positive reviews on trip advisor and although there are lots of positives, it’s really nowhere near as good as the reviews make out. Essentially what you’re getting here is an inner city motel which has been modernized and rebranded as a boutique hotel. On the plus side, if you want to be...

A quirky but lovely hotel in a motel style. We stayed three nights in October. Great situation: we would walk down to the lake front each morning and it was very conveniently located for cafes and restaurants. Internal decor was amazing on a black and white theme, loved this. Hot thermal bath of 40 degrees plus actually got me into...
