The location is ok but the room was unclean, and with very poor decor. The facilities were very limited. Even Hostels would be a better option...price and cleanliness-wise. Reception didn't even apologise when we complained.

Last min booked into hotel on easter. Told we were in the eco class room. Which said had wifi and sky. So paid our $140 and took our bags up some dirty old stairs down a scummy hall way. Walls and doors all dirty. So found the room sat on the old bed hit the base turned the tv on...

Near to Polynesian Spa, to the center city, 2 Information Centers and a lot of restaurants. There is a continental coffee and although some people complain, the low WIFI signal at an hotel in a touristic place is an invitation to stay out of the room and explore the city.

Bare bones but clean, staff very nice. Only bad thing is no 24-hour front desk, only open 8 am to 8 pm. Continental breakfast was decent. Close to visitor center and to many restaurants. Easy walk to the lake n night life at Eat Street. Good Wifi available.

So we booked to stay at the Grand Hotel for a couple of nights, and what we got was a room with air-conditioning that didn't work, and a fridge with a freezer that somehow managed to melt ice cream within about 10 minutes. I can't decide whether that's impressive or massively annoying. A bit of both maybe? We went and...

The room is clean and functional. Just enough space. Rates include simple breakfast, which is great. It is well located in the centre. Hotel needs a facelift and upgrade but this is good enough for a short stay.

The staff were friendly, it was cheap and it had a good location. Other than that it was in very bad condition. Our room looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in years. There were cob webs coming down from the ceiling, dust covered most surfaces, paint/ wallpaper was literally falling off the ceiling, walls and doors, there was even...

Very close to the city great walking distance. Very lucky to have a room as we booked an hour before so over all very grateful for a place...

When my partner and I arrived at the front desk, we were notified that we had been upgraded. Great! So we thought.. We were put at the extreme end of the hotel, the bridge in which we had to cross over was decaying, the ceiling was falling apart and you could see where there had been water leaking through the...
