Very welcoming and friendly host's. House very accessable and no private areas for guest or home owner's. Guest share whole house with the owners. Only rule in house was make yourself at home. Was a home from home feeling. Shower very good and bed very comfortable. Asked owner where to go for food and had good knowledge of where to...

I had the pleasure to stay at Brad and Fujiko's fantastic B&B, 16 Havelock for 8 nights in October 2013. You can not help but feel at home, relaxed and comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. There is only one rule : Make yourself at home. The weather was not the best during my stay, so Brad...

I stayed for three nights @ 16 Havelock and from the first greeting to our reluctant departure we felt so comfortable in their home. My friend & I shared the twin room which has the most comfortable king single beds. The shower is the best I've ever experienced! All rooms beautifully decorated and impeccably clean & tidy! Delicious home made...

I have just spent three nights at the most amazing B n B in New Plymouth. Run by a very friendly couple, Brad and Fujiko, offer wonderful accommodation within their home. From the first moment we stepped into their home we were treated with sincere and warm kindness. The home is tastefully decorated and extremely clean and tidy. Each morning...

I stayed at 16 Havelock which is a Bed and Breakfast and I was totally welcomed into their home and taken care of from the very beginning to the very end. Their one rule was "Make yourself at home" and that was exactly what it was like. Their home is warm, and beautiful just like them and there was nothing...

I made my booking about one week before I started my trip and I was surprised that the smaller guest room was still available. If you are on your own and travelling by Naked Bus or any other public transportation you will need to walk a little to get there but it is worth the effort. I can honestly say that...

Brad and Fujiko are extremely helpful and very friendly hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely clean fresh interior, super little room, excellent Wi-Fi connection. Shower was perfect. Breakfast excellent, home made bread was delicious. As a B&B it is brilliant, I was a little wary of shared bathroom but that was not a problem. Lovely views of Mount Egmont/Mount...

Brad and Fujiko are the most accommodating hosts we have ever met. They both created an ambience of peace and serenity and looked after us so well we didn't want to leave! The house has a lovely interior, with eye catching detail and complete cleanliness. Our bed was heaven! We only got out once we could smell our breakfast wafting...

I booked online and arrived late not really knowing what to expect, but desperately needing a bed. I was warmly met by hosts Brad and Fujiko and shown around their beautiful property. Everything about this B&B says luxury - except for the price! I was then treated to a delicious, home-made Japanese dinner, for just $15 extra. It could have...

We stayed there a night on the way back to Wellington and we're really glad we did! Brad and Fujiko were excellent hosts, providing us with lots of ideas on places to go while in New Plymouth (we ended up seeing the Festival of Lights, which was great), and for a small sum, Fujiko cooked us a deliciously authentic Japanese...

“If you want simple and functional then the little room out the back is fine. You have the rest of the house to share should you want more space. Did not see the other rooms but if you are looking for a couple these would obviously be better.”
