Would really recommend staying at Berkenhoff, clean, warm, and well priced. Hats off to Brett for being a top host, easy going and nothing too much trouble! We sure made the most of the free pool table, ping pong and swimming pool. A must visit!
Stayed there for a few days in my campervan.
The hostel is a but older but well equipped. Also the owner, who bought the the place two years ago, tries to make it a better place. The toilets and bathrooms could be a bit cleaner....More
Excellent place for large groups or sports teams. Clean and warm, huge kitchen and dining room. Good laundry facilities. Comfy beds.
Brett & PR cat Simba made us feel very welcome, nothing was a problem.

Quite some way from centre and lake, the first impression was the grumpy warden or owner, nibbling on his chips at reception.
