There is a large sunny lounge for guests and Paul and Elizabeth made sure we had everything we needed. Eating in the sunny, comfortable kitchen with...

A well-taken-care-of Garden, nice living room, many books to read if you fancy a quiet time indoor. Elizabeth, Paul and Saxon is more than hosts for us. Absolutely love this place. We arrived early evening to very helpful and accommodating Elizabeth and Paul, and the lovely Saxon. I felt like I was in a home away from home. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and are a lovely place to either sit and ponder or enjoy an evening beverage. Just a stones throw away from the beach and...

Easy reach to Taupo and nice to sit in the garden with a drink after a long day walking, riding, golfing or sightseeing. Beds are really comfy as well as plenty of room to relax. I really recommend to try this place out...

Our hosts were charming ,considerate and helpful. The house is charming . Our bedroom was fine with two windows and a close by nicely equipped private bathroom with egg timer in situ. Friends who were also staying were less pleased with small shower recess in their room . On balance all pretty pleasant but if you are looking for a...

Really enjoyed our visit. Elizabeth and Paul could not have been more welcoming. Lovely room, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Afternoon tea and breakfast very good. Lovely walk by the lake. Dinner in bistro in village very good. Chef offered three veggie options even though there were none on the menu. Very good wine. Much better than staying in Taupo.
