We stayed there for one night only, but it was enough to realize how good it was. Location is excellent - very close to the lake itself and to the city centre. It was great to leave our car and just walk around. Room and bathroom were very clean, bed was comfortable, A pleasant surprise were TV and hairdrier. The...

We stayed a couple of nights at the rainbow lodge and enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful (great tip on doing the evening sail on the fearless). The room was nice despite small and had everything we needed except for something to put small things on (small table, night stand). The wifi was free but...

Had an amazing time here! Lovely people, really nice accommodation. Free unlimited wifi! Big kitchen! And a piano! and the first hostel that offers free tea and coffee and actually provides milk!! We even got to take the dog (Jess) for a walk to Huka falls with Jess showing us the way. Soo sad to be leaving here but if...

I stayed at the Rainbow Lodge for 4 nights in January 2017 and it was like a home from home, I didn't want to leave. The staff were super friendly and helpful and even dropped me off at the bus stop when I left. I was in a large dorm room but it was well set up and there was...

I stayed here for 12 days with the FANTASTIC crew of the Lodge. All members of staff were really friendly and approachable and went out of their way to help me out with transport and received tonnes of advice for things to do. The community element is so welcoming as soon as you arrive. Whether travelling as a group or...

We originally booked to stay here for 3 nights but had such a fantastic time and good experience we booked 5 more nights. (This was in 1-2 night chunks though as our plans changed and the staff was amazing at working with us!) The staff was super friendly and had wonderful recommendations. They kitchen has a lot of space and...
