Comfy, clean and tidy but very date and run down. The outside of th resort looks amazing and sets an expectation of the type of accommodation you will be staying in however once you get to your room it is a very different atmosphere and the rooms need updating and freshening. We were feeling a bit peckish so thought we...

Attended a business conference here. The check-in staff were very helpful and friendly. My room decor was perhaps a little dated, but it was tidy and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The conference facilities were great for us - plenty of space for 150-ish delegates. I found the food good, but the resort didn't seem to have a very...

Arriving late afternoon 25.5.2016 after a long wet drive from Hamilton, we booked in and settled. Staff were great, very helpful. The room was warm and the bed gave us a great nights sleep, for the cost very good. I will add we were a little disappointed with the meal for the cost. We only had mains, costing $37 per head, I,...

Stayed here during business trip back in Feb 2014. Very nice resort and staff very accommodating and ready to assist anytime. One morning, I have to arranged for a conference room at a very last minute. The Restaurant/ Banquet Manager ( forgot to get his name) very proactive and quickly make arrangement with breakfast for me. So thankful and grateful...

We wanted a change from staying in Taupo itself and this proved to be a worthy choice which exceeded our expectations. The setting is very tranquil and relaxing; the hotel is well presented and our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The highlight proved to be the restaurant where we ate very well (from the a la carte menu) and...

We wanted a quiet stay with good restaurant, green surroundings and a warm pool...at a reasonable price. We got all of these. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful.Where a mistake was made in the checkout statement it was corrected without hesitation.

I stayed here on Saturday night and was very disappointed, the room we stayed in we could hear the people next door talking, when ever any one knocked on a door you thought it was yours, walls are paper thin. No chance could you get up to any funny business or the whole wing would hear you!! The room extremely...

We had booked into the rooms rather than the villas and can confirm the quality reported by other reviewers. 105rachel2015 comments on the musty smell, but the whole area is prone to smells from the volcanic activity. An odour of hydrogen sulphide is characteristic of the area. We found the staff very courteous and helpful, and although we had not...

The reception staff were very off hand. Not suitable to impress tourists. The wifi was slow and not up to standard. Rooms were pleasant, clean and comfortable. Pools very nice. The staff need to be trained to not treat families as second class guests.

We meet my parents at the Resort as it was their wedding anniversary. We enjoyed walking around the gardens, playing tennis and my parents played 9 holes of golf just across the road. The kids and I swam in the main hot pool which was a lovely temperature. We had a lovely meal in the Restaurant in the evening; we...
