we stayed here in our motorhome to catch the ferry, fantastic staff, so helpful, directions and local information was first class. our meal was amazing and we relaxed in lounge. the facilities for motorhome were very good and the site was quiet.

This is a family run motel and they are very welcoming and genuinely friendly. The apartments are very clean and comfortable and not too noisy despite being close to the highway into Wellington. The food in the restaurant is tasty and well presented. The big plus to staying here is the close proximity to the Interislander ferry terminal.

I chose this motel for it's location. It meant we didn't have to drive into Wellington and find parking but was an ideal location for reaching the ferry in the morning. I was really pleased with this find. Despite its proximity to the road it was quiet and looked out on a pleasant garden. The staff were very helpful. There...

Staff lovely and helpful and wanted to chat about the area. One of the best motels on our road trip as we were travelling to the inter island ferry Food was great with large portions and a good selection.

We chose this site due to its location close to Wellington. It is not a campervan park but a parking lot with powered sites, but we knew that as we had checked out the website before coming. The toilets and showers were not clean and not very nice, so we decided to skip the shower in the morning. It is...

We booked this because of the great location to the ferry. However it cost no less than the other sites we stayed in NZ and was basically just a car park where you are squeezed in. The facilities included a couple of showers for each sex which weren't that clean and a very small kitchen. We even skipped showers because...

Powered site booked for one night. It was really just a car park that we stayed in. Toilets/showers. 2 showers for females, so had to queue. Then had to use toilet in reception next day as again, had to queue in main block. Nothing great to say about here except the location was handy. That's it though. It's not really...

The property is in good condition, everything was clean. We used their campground, which is actually a parking lot, so not that beautiful for a longer stay. The best thing is for sure the location - closest possible option for Wellington City (bus stop directly in front of the entrance) and the ferry terminals.

Stayed here because of location. Staff were helpful and we had one dinner there which was nice. However rooms are dated and also smelt musty when we arrived. Beds were comfortable. Seems to be on a flight path and we heard many planes and also near a busy road, but surprisingly traffic noise was not too bad. There is a...

We stopped here for two nights staying in the powered campsites at the back of the motel. The general feeling we got was that the campsites were a bit of an after thought/something to put on the land after the motels were built. However the major positive for this place was its proximity to the interislander ferry to Picton. Bathrooms...
