We arrived at the Distinction to find ourselves in a Studio room with no laundry facilities where we had specifically asked for them, but once we'd raised this with Reception we were moved immediately with no fuss whatsoever to a 1-bedroom apartment, which was fine. The apartment was fine, large, comfortable and well appointed, without being 'flash' or trendy -...

Rooms are self contained with a separate living area with kitchen and also washing machine/dryer which is so much more comfortable than an ordinary hotel room. Bed was very comfortable and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Caught the bus from the airport and stop was an easy walk. In saying this it cost $18 for the two...

Stayed at the Distinction Hotel for 4 nights. Hotel is very noisy (constant banging on walls and from the room above). Very easy to hear when someone closes a door in the hallway. Also, there is no air-conditioning. When preparing to check out of the hotel, I had lined all of my boyfriends belongings on the glass table in the...

This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at this property, and it was just as good as the first time. Large-sized rooms, and the property is in a great location, handy to central Wellington so we can walk everywhere in the city. There is an excellant supermarket close by (Moore Wilsons - excellent cheese section), if...

8 of us travelled from HB to a concert in Wellington. The hotel had been pre-booked for about 5 months. We had two separate apartments with all the amenities, kitchen, spacious lounge area and a washer/drier. A queen size bed in a separate bedroom and one in the lounge (heaps of room). The rooms were spotless and I really could...

Excellent hotel for short stays. We had a studio, and it was very well equipped-will need some maintenance in a short time. Big bathtub and a good bed. Also very fast internet. Very close to a lot of mall restaurants.

Very good value for such a central location. Excellent apartment with a very comfortable bed - and a washing machine! Everything was spotless. Reception staff were very helpful. Good value car parking available. What's not to like!

I stayed for 2 nights with my family here. Apartment was very spacious. Has an induction cook top, which was very suitable for us since we wanted to cook our own food instead of spending so much eating in a restaurant. So that is definitely a plus. Fromt staff was professional. Had a nice swim in the self contained pool....

A very spacious pleasant apartment to spend 4 nights. In walking distance to most of central Wellington. Fully equipped. We had booked for a couple, but there was a second queen bed. Very large lounge. Bed extremely comfortable , great bathroom etc. the only negative was the swimming pool, which was wasn't pleasant, but one can cope without a swim....

Fully self contained apartment with a view into a carpark. The apartment was roomy for one. Modern, glass basins and tables give a clean and industrial feel. All amenities are here. Charge back available at a few cafes and restaurants, no in house restaurant. Great location! Would come back
