Location is excellent - just a couple of elevators and you are in the heart of the CBD on Lambton Quay. Good size room, clean and tidy. Bed a little hard for my taste - like my pillow top mattress now....and I needed ear plugs due to traffic noise and single glazing but not as bad as some other inner-city...

Awesome but a pool being available would enhance the experience. Better signage from Lambton Quay would assist visitors to locate hotel from central city. I would like to see the ability to utilise my personal technology with that available in the room

Hotel is dated, peeling paint and cracks in ceilings and hair dryers are archaic, needs a refurb. Mostly clean with the exception of thick layer of dust in view by bed. We were only there for one night but staff were helpful and rooms were good enough for the price. Handy to the shops.

We stayed for three days, very limited view, two double beds where a single Queen or king would have been more appropriate ang given us a little more room space. The breakfast was a great selection and plenty of it. No cuttlery inthe room was abit of a downrer as you could not cut yourself a snack if you just...

Stayed for 3 nights in June 2016 for a rugby tour weekend. Hotel entrance was on a busy traffic junction so was a little difficult to enter by hire car, but once that was sorted we found there was a pedestrian back exit onto the busy Lambton Quay shopping street at the rear, which was also just a few steps...

Our room was great. Clean and beds were comfortable. The location of the hotel is the winner being close to everything in Wellington. I always rate a place on the "Would I stay here again?" question. The answer is yes most definitely.

Location ideal to do business in. Professional team, great front of house staff, barrista downstairs etc. Push the al-a carte menu upstairs. Its award winning, as opposed to the buffet - which isn't. Long term staff, mixture of students and fulltime employees excellent. Rooms - dated unfortunately, and information on customer profile not being transferred - you miss out on...

Although the rooms were great, the staff were rude and unhelpful. As I had booked three rooms I was made to pay a $300 bond even though I had pd for all the rooms! I felt like I was treated like a criminal! The buffet breakfast was terrible, everything was cold and undercooked.

The location is fantastic. The rooms are very clean. My only annoyance was we checked in to a onebefroom suite to find no plates currently/microwave but the room did have a dinning table. Calling every night for some plates and waiting a long time for them can get a annoying. Our room was big and very nice, although I think...

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights. Assigned room was not acceptable for length of stay as it had no view and felt hemmed in by surrounding towers. After 1st night we were assigned a much better room. Hotel location is excellent. Easy access to city centre via elevator to Lambton Quay and easy walk to Victoria University. Breakfast...
