We stayed 3 night (2 in apartment and one in hotel side) and one of the nights was a special package which included cocktails in our room and chocolates and bath bomb , we felt very...

Rented apartment for 4 nights while on vacation from South Carolina. Apartment was very well appointed, with everything you might need or want, including a washer/dryer and a espresso machine. Large bathroom with two person spa tub. Located across the street from the must see Te Papa Museum of New Zealand, and close to many restaurants and attractions. Did not...

Stayed five nights while in town on business. We had an apartment with a harbor view. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette was a godsend! There is a full service grocery in the next block so we were able to have coffee and breakfast items in the room. While the refrigerator is stocked with minibar items, there is still...

We were upgraded to an apartment which was just lovely. The hotel is slightly OTT but it seems to work. I found the Hippopotamus restaurant somewhat pretentious. Why does EVERYONE have a French accent? Someone at another table was asked to take their cell phone off the table. Fair enough I suppose, but I have never seen that before. Great...

This is a funky fun Hotel, the decor is fabulous in the large foyer, with quality and interesting art works of all varieties throughout. They offer free coffee and tea making in their foyer, with plenty of luxurious furnishings, so you can sit amongst the art. The staff were welcoming and obliging. It has an amazing French restaurant "Hippopotamus" and...

Right across the road from Te Papa Museum on Wellington's waterfront, the Mueum is a great place to stay. It's cetral location makes it the ideal place to stay. The hotel is full of interesting Art work and the rooms are comfortable.

If you ever want to get a full sense of what the neo liberal revolution gifted New Zealand, take yourself to the Museum Art Hotel. New Zealanders who have a slightly quiffy English accent, or their approximation of it assuming that it makes them seem upper class, abound. A waitress in the gaudy and over stuffed restaurant where you can...

I usually stay here when I'm travelling because it's very easy to access and the location is excellent with so many eateries just a short walk away. It's also a great location if you like to walk along the waterfront or visit Te Papa Museum. I personally love the decor and atmosphere of the lobby area - definitely at the...

My sister-in-law and I went to Wellington for the weekend to see the Great War Exhibition at Te Papa Museum and booked to stay at the Museum Art Hotel. I absolutely loved it from the minute we arrived - the reception area alone, which is huge, is stuffed full of quirky artefacts, so many that one could spend a day...
