Hostel itself is very nice, with a good communal area. The kitchen isn’t well equipped and is small. Only one stove for the whole place. Bathrooms are limited. Apparently there’s a no noise after 11pm rule which isn’t implemented and we where kept up till 2am from people and the

Situated next to the beautiful cathedral, the botanical garden and right in the heart of the town made it a great location. Found it too noisy and not that clean neither. The staff was friendly and helpful which is always nice.

Hi! Thanks for your review! Sorry about the noise, we try to keep bathrooms and kitchens as clean as possible but we have so many guests it is sometimes difficult to stay on top of all the areas. We hope you enjoyed your time in Wellington!

Too noisy place, you could hear through the walls. 2 kitchens but only ONE stove in each one. Many long term guests with no respect at all to other guests- they thought they owned the place, had party in the kitchen until 2am...drunk and screaming. Not enough bathrooms at such a

Hi! We are very sorry you had a bad stay at our backpackers. We do have security at night but it is not always possible to monitor all our guests all the time. We do clean our bathrooms regularly during the day and evening but sometimes people will be messy... Again, we are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, Regards, Trek Global.

I recently stayed at this hostel and it was a very good experience. It is located off Willis Street, one of the main streets in Wellington and about 15 minutes walk from the train/bus station. The hostel was clean and tidy in the dorm, kitchen and bathrooms. The dorm room was

HI! Thank you for review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us in Wellington. We have put signs up telling guests not to take things from the downstairs kitchen upstairs, but unfortunately people still do. We do try to keep things stocked up as much as we can. Again thank you for your review and we hope you have safe and happy travels! Cam, Trek Global.

"I stayed in almost every kind of room in the hostel. I recommend the deluxe rooms for people staying long term, as you share the room with only two other people, and the weekly rates are cheaper."
"Get what you get not much difference I don't think."
"If you are looking for a quieter stay, then avoid the 4-bed dorms on the ground floor. They are the cheapest but the loudest."
