This was an ideal location for Wellington Public Hospital and Southern Cross Hospital. Also couple of minutes walk to buses to the city and the local supermarket. I was on my own and felt very safe walking in the neighbourhood. The room was very cosy with small dining table separated by the bed by half a wall. Microwave, toast, jug...

Motel has recently been refurbished with new kitchens and bathrooms. Very clean, bed firm but silky sheets. Space was a bit tight but thats because there was 12 of us occupying a room at one time - we booked two units and had 3 visitors. Countdown Supermarket across the road and Colombus Cafe - excellent breakfast. It is on a...

Rooms are very small. The good thing about these rooms is they are charged per room and not person. Whilst clean the kitchen appliances are very dated (in or room anyway). I never met the owners even when checking out. Parking on the road is the best option. There is FREE wi-fi. Right next to supermarket and Newtown town.

Top marks for location to Newtown walking distance to hospital, shopping and supermarket on your doorstep and easy access to city attractions. Parking limited but free and surprisingly quiet. free wifi included.Staff friendly. Motel unit small and adequate for short stay but dated and could do with a good spring clean and update.

Ok so I understand cheap but you should still be able to sleep in cheap. Noisy traffic, sirens etc... We could hear everything from upstairs!!! E V E R Y T H I N G! Linen was clean but the place was pretty average all up. If you want cheap at this place bring ear plugs! Heavy duty ones.

Stayed here for three nights, because I needed to be close to the hospital. Friendly service, keen to do their best for us. The unit was on the ground floor and very comfortable for a couple but would have been claustrophobic if we had been three of us. Very clean and tidy. The first night there was someone heavy-footed upstairs,...

Stayed there three nights. Motel was very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Very handy to the hospital and bus stops for journeys into town. Couple of small niggles. Parking was very tight and soundproofing not good. One our first night I think there was a elephant with a peg leg upstairs-next two nights people above us were far less heavy...

We only stayed here one night. Book in was good and they allowed us into the room in advance of the set time (this had been pre-arranged). There is plenty of parking. The room was clean and there were new appliances. The hairdryer was kept in the Reception and we did not realise this until we had come out of...
