Good location, handy to railway station, food outlets etc. Reasonably quiet despite it's busy location. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, seemed clean and well looked after though very dated inside

After the previous week in expensive New Zealand hostel dorms, my partner and I decided that we needed a private room. Looking around Wellington, we encountered this place where, whilst still expensive, a twin was only slightly more than a dorm. Why a double is more expensive than a twin here is beyond me, surely it should be less given...

We arrived Wellington by bus from Auckland, the hostel is just minutes away from where we get off the bus. Staff is super friendly. Room and bathroom is very very old. Limited free wifi. Locatin is the selling point for this hostel, urgent renovation is needed.

I flew down to Wellington for a few days to visit the Gallipoli display at Te Papa. My friend and I are too old for bunk beds so we had a suite which contained a single bed and double bed plus our own bathroom. The cost was very reasonable. There is also a restaurant which is open from 7,00 a.m....

We hired a locker for the day to leave our bags before we caught the train. $2:00 for 6 hours! The staff were really helpful lots of local information available. Easy access and close to train station. Would reccommend this option, rather than carting bags or suitcases around.Really appreciated this service. Thank you.

We visited the place last year. It has the best location in Wellington, right opposite the railway station and the harbour is two minute walk away. The rooms are very tidy and comfortable. The restaurant at the first floor has good food, friendly staff. It also has a huge self service kitchen. We went at the time of World Cup...

Wellington was amazing. Personally I enjoyed the time with my friends in the dorm rooms. We played cards and spent a lot of quality time together. The beds were comfy, considering I slept on the top bunk and the room were lovely and cosy. Thank you for this amazing opportunity given to us as a student from Kaingaroa School. I'm...

It was a nice hotel but was having some changes and painting done at the time which I found alright although the paint smelt a bit! The service was good and the rooms were fine. But the bed bunks were really squeaky and annoying at night when we tried to sleep. It was a little concerning to us that the...
