Just returned from visiting Wellington with my family, three adult daughters and our elderly parents. We had two rooms which were clean, spacious and very comfortable. We were very happy with the service and the location couldn't be better. Thanks

After staying a very good hotel last year in Wellington we thought we would try another closer Cuba St and Courtney Place as well as the waterfront. West Plaza Hotel was suitable for all. Reception and staff were very friendly and professional and did everything they could to help. Our friends staying with us in a room next door said...

West Plaza hotel is located in the Wellington CBD and is minutes walk away from some of Wellingtons best cafe's, restaurants and attractions like Te Papa Museum. The rooms are reasonable and the staff friendly. The only downside is the tiny and very difficult car parking situation. My advice if you do stay here and have a car is to...

This hotel gives excellent value for money. The rooms are functional and hotel very clean. The stand out feature is the staff who helped me out with everything from laundry, the gym and a late check out. The location is unbeatable, central to everything you need. I'm glad I finished my trip to New Zealand here.

I Checked in today at around 8pm/9pm and paid for 2 nights and a reserved car park. Left to see some families around the area and came back around 1am to see that our car park spot was taken. Asked the male receptionist and he said he was not informed about a car park spot, so I explained to him...

Thanks, we appreciate your feedback. I was sorry to hear that your original car park was in use, but understand there were several other spaces available that you did not want to use. This is one of the reasons we do not reserve car parking spots at the hotel. The Night Manager did try to explain this to you but...

Our family stayed here for 1 night whist in Wellington for a graduation. Great location, walking distance to shops, Michael Fowler, Te Papa etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were average size, bathrooms really need updating, doors got stuck and shower wets the floor affecting the toilet. Even though we booked for 3 people there were only towels...

Thanks for your positive feedback about the location of the hotel. I am sorry you only had 2 towels, when we are advised that 3 people are in a room we do always try to make sure that there are enough towels. I will pass your comments onto the front office team so they can look at procedures. Thanks for...

I found nothing wrong with the hotel. No air con but didn't need it, it's not the tropics. Room was clean and serviced daily. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Always with a cheery smile. In the centre of town, easy walk to all attractions. A very pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a good location and is close to Te Papa (5-10 min walk). Parking is available ($20-$25 per night). The hotel's lobby is clean and very nice looking. The rooms too are very clean. Wifi is available in the room but you only get a certain daily amount before paying. The room also does not have an...

Perfectly located hotel to explore central Wellington from. Close to Cuba street but not so close that noise will disturb sleep. Friendly staff and quite OK standard on rooms even if age starts to show here and there. Hint: don't choose the hotel parking since it is too small for cars bigger than a VW Golf.
