On multiple occasions thought the elevator was going to break, room was a standard backpackers. However location was ideal being a few minutes walk from the city centre. Came back after a night out and a few of the backpackers were smoking dope outside the entrance

We stayed here for 1 night (wouldn't have stayed any longer) whilst passing through Wellington. We weren't informed when we booked that the toilets and showers were not only shared but communal. They also had the washing machine and dryer in them which meant they were always full. The whole place needs closing down and cleaning/refurbishing. There was mould in...

We (6 people) stayed in a budget room for one night for a price of just over 100 NZD. The room had all the kitchen facilities so that you can cook your own meals. Even their is a dining table inside the room. Staff is very friendly as well. Only drawback is limited parking is available and you have to...

The location is perfect and that's it. The bathrooms are dirty, carpet dirty and the kitchen is worn out. They charge $5 for the wifi connection when you can get that for free in other Hostels. Check in at 2:00 pm and the Check out at 10:00 am

It's definetly not the best hostel ever but it's fine for a very cheap hostel in the center. The staff is not especially very welcoming. It's mainly dirty: kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and even the beds. Place to stay only for one night

Place was cheap, staff were cheerful as were the other people staying there usually until around 2-3am, which would have been fine, i've been a student I understand revelry, however when you're in a room with a window that won't shut and has duct tape holding it together, you can't really block it out. Think I got a total of...

Horrible hostel. Dirty, crap rooms that are falling apart. Curtains hanging off, paint gone off the walls, carpet filthy. Shared bathroom was awful. Old, dirty, falling apart aswell. Showers were ok. Staff were lovely. Location was great but I'd never stay here again. Cheap for a reason.

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for about 2 weeks and expected the worst after seeing all the reviews. Granted we did stay in a double room, so can't comment on what the dorm rooms are like, but was perfectly fine for us. Toilets are kitchen gets cleaned daily, but often does get very dirty at busy times, which obviously...

My friend and I had a stay in november and lived in a private bunkbed room and had our worst night ever! The smell in the room was horrible and smelled like a drunk man's breath. The toilets were all dusty and dirty and we didn't wanna touch anything. All the walls were covered in horrible paintings and mud and...

A disgustingly neglected stinking room and you couldn't open the window because something was broken. Bathroom and toilet floor covered with toilet paper - no way you would want to wade thru to get to a shower. The whole place was pretty filthy everywhere.
