My room at the Bolton comprised a kitchen living area with a separate queen size bedroom and bathroom. Really well appointed - although some maintenance on the door hiding the almost full sized refridgerator would have made the facilities even better. Comfortable stay with quiet heating/cooling system. My only negative was the almost constant creaking of the hotel. I've stayed...

I loved it - almost enough said. The place is a great place to stay - very clean and modern styling, it's roomy and checkin was easy. And it had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. You can dine in-house at their Artisan restaraunt - another winner. This is my pick of Wellington Hotels

This is a lovely hotel. I have stayed here a number of times, and the different types of rooms are great (some with amazing views). Room amenities are also great - I particularly enjoyed the in room plunger coffee. The breakfast is of a very high quality, with everything that you would want. The staff are also very helpful.

This place is a great place for a romantic weekend away. The staff are excellent. The rooms are clean and tidy. Love the flat screen TVs and the bed. The rooms need a bit of tidying as the decor is getting a bit dated

Stayed in a two bedroom very sunny apartment (1602) with my dad. The apartment has everything that you would need, as well as a couple of additional touches e.g. scented bath tea bags and is conveniently located near Lambton Quay. Perfectly clean and no faulting the housekeeping team. All staff were so friendly and enthusiastically helped with any queries. I...

My wife and I had couple of most pleasant overnight stays at the Bolton Hotel. Our first night was spent in a 10th floor studio which had a most comfortable bed and clean en suite facilities. The aircon sound was slightly intrusive throughout the night. Our second night, a week later, was upgraded to a spacious, quiet 50 sq metre...

Well, the restaurant staff was super friendly. It was hit or miss with the front desk. Typically great but there were a few times they were off. The first visit I got bed bugs. Second round I didn't get them, but they were repairing the pool and the fumes were pretty bad. I was switched rooms and it addressed the...

The room was one of the nicest we have stayed in. Fantastic shower. Staff were very nice and food was fantastic. Slightly out of the way but very close to Parliament and the waterfront and it is a fantastic spot close to the motorway. Looking forward to staying again

Enjoyed our convenient and welcoming hotel in a great location in Wellington. A hidden gem. Nice buffet breakfast, free wifi, spa, private little bar for drinks. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

From the time of arrival via taxi at 30mins past midnight the staff were helpful and efficient. This applies to the Restaurant as well. our room was a studio overlooking the historic cemetery and the highway (no noise from the road). The bedding was good but the bed was a bit hard - could do with a little comfort layer....
