I came here for a function today and staff were helpful as I was confused where to go, the lobby is adorable and the restaurant ha a lot of character, as someone who also works in hospitality I enjoyed my visit and will return here for a meal. The function room was small but it worked for the amount of...

Dear Emily C, We really appreciate you taking the time to post your fabulous comments! I am pleased your function went well and we do appreciate your very flattering comment regarding our supreme lobby area! For a 'budget' hotel this one has a lot going for it. Right in the centre of the city, it has a bar on the roof and a café on the ground floor. When you are ready to eat there are a raft of restaurants in the area and a large Asian food court across the road. We had a...

Located on Willis street Trinity Hotel is an easy walking distance from the I-Centre, Courtney Place, Lampton place and harbour. A tall, maybe 1960's 3* type city hotel, well located but getting tatty around the edges, close to numerous eating places and a nice rooftop bar. Room 509 has a rotten view out back, of concrete walls and roofs but...

I travel a bit for work, and primarily to Wellington. I never pay for my accommodation, so its hard to feel ripped off. All ourbtravel is booked through Orbit which is a have. They build up the relationship with the hotels, make all the gains and we never get the good hotels at the price promised in the yearly 'preferred...

Dear Stephen W, Thank you for taking the time to post your comments, we do appreciate it. It is fantastic that you enjoyed our location and the cleanliness of your room. Noise can be an issue in any CBD Hotel unfortunately. We do have earplugs available so it is unfortunate you did not call to reception as they would have...

It was in a great location to walk around the city to shops bars and restaurants. The staff were lovely. Parking was a great price. The room was clean but a bit small....we were only there overnight so that was ok and the price made up for the fact that it was a bit small.

This boutique property is as cheap and cheerful as it gets for an urban hotel. The staff is awesomely helpful and nice. What this property may lack in modernity, it makes up for in location, location location. Just 2 blocks from Courtney Place and Cuba Street, there's easy access to these 'hoods. Plus Lambton Quay is 2 blocks in another...

Location ideal. Room small with nowhere to sit other than on the bed. If you have a cup of tea no where to put the cup on one side of bed. Shower door did not shut properly with water going onto floor. OK the second day once we were aware of the problem and directed the shower head away from...

Booked this they said they had parking. I got there and was informed I could drive around the neighborhood and park on the street in front of the bars and restaurants in the area as long as I moved my car before 8am. Looking for reasonably priced accommodation in Wellington I chose Trinity Hotel in Willis Street. Sadly, the hotel is quite run down with a fairly shabby appearance...
