Its a lovely hotel, but the nightly rate, can be quite pricey. If you are looking for a little bit of luxury, its definitely the hotel to pick. Staff are very friendly and professional. As expected the accommodation is very good.

We spent 1 night at this hotel during a 4 week visit to NZ. The hotel is well located and our bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. It has an excellent view over the harbour but unfortunately is adjacent to a multi storey building that is presently undergoing extensive refur…
This is second time we stayed here. Overall decor feels tired from lobby to the room. Especially carpet in room looks dirty, and desperately needs update.
Didn’t eat at hotel restaurant this time, but recall from last year it had decent burgers

"Rooms are sound proofed so not problem where. I had a corner room overlooking the Beehive (Parliament) so curtains on both sides."
