The room was decorated in an attractive manner and contained a few items to use for eating a meal. There were cafes and a grocery store nearby. Everything was clean and well kept. There was plenty of parking.

We stayed in the Best Western for six nights at the end January/ beginning of February. We had a one bedroom apartment on the top floor. We were at the end of the motel - away from the road and found our room quiet. The apartment had a pleasant view across looking across Johnsonville. The apartment was clean and comfortable....

Best Western Wellington is a warm and friendly place to stay. Wonderful staff and close to everything you need. Just far enough out of the way so that you are not distracted by outside noise. Easy to get to and wonderful views.

Excellent, polite and helpful staff from arrival to departure along with good, all be it very basic accommodation, make this a good all-round motel. Wellington can suffer with very bad wind, so having basement covered parking out of the wind, especially for our motorcycles, is excellent. A good location near all the facilities you will need, and near Johnsonville station...

We first stayed here 2 years ago and felt it ticked the boxes for us, so we were happy to return. Only overnight this time, as we were driving to Rotorua early the next day in our hire car. So the location, on the northern outskirts of Wellington, suited us just fine. But as the excellent rail service into town...

When we arrived we asked to change to a quieter room where we could open the windows since there is no air conditioning. We were told that there is a whole side of the hotel facing that busy highway and that unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. We had specified that we needed a quiet room on our reservation and...

We stayed for only one night in a two bedroom apartment. Instead of central heating, the apartment had a portable heater in the lounge room and each of the bedrooms. The night was very cold but we didn't feel comfortable leaving the heater on going to bed so we turned it off, resulting in us waking up to a very...

Thank you so much Missjte21 for staying with us and taking the time to post your review. I am sorry to hear that you didn't like our heating arrangements in the rooms. Those portable heaters are 2200W each with built in timer, which we thought are the best for our guests in the cold wellington weather. So guests have the...
