We had a great stay in the camping ground. A very safe and family orientated environment. The camp was clean and orderly Organised activities for kids if they wanted to join in. We enjoyed the bonfire and marshmallows!

The owners were so welcoming and attentive to any needs we mentioned. Beautiful grounds. Lovely river that skirts the backside of the property, by the tent sites. we stayed before the busy season but saw the campfire pit, zip line, and open field for games. Plus we heard of the planned activities once the season started. Movie room for wet...

We were trying to stay near Oamaru, but it was booked out, so we went further afield. We knew we wanted to visit Elephant Rocks and Anatini, so this ended up being in a good spot. We saw both on the way to the the holiday park. We were greeted with a smile and enthusiasm for the area. Great swimming...

We 'happened" upon this place as we were heading thru the Danseys pass. We were looking for a place just to rest for the night. We pulled up at the office, and noticed a blackboard advertising "movie night'.... (plus plus) Also noticed Go-karts, (another plus), after an hour we decided no, one night is not enough we will stay two,...

We have been going here for 20 years, the place is old, rustic, and somewhat a little dated but that is what gives it its charm and character. the river is brilliant for swimming, there are lots of walks to do, a fabulous place for the children and its dog friendly.

We camped by the river in a non-powered site as 2 families. There was a brilliant rope swing and river pool right near our camp site. The weather was patchy, and it was great to be able to prep food using the well equipped camp kitchen. The camp also organised activities such as rock painting, bonfires and movie nights, and...

Located on the Danseys Pass road between Duntroon and Naseby, this is a charming holiday park right next to a river full of trout. So, a fisherman's paradise. On the hill opposite were sheep with their lambs, and at night all you could hear was the sound of the river. It was beautifully quiet when I visited for one night...

What a stunning location. Right on the banks of a river all the cabins are around the central children's play area. There is also a beautiful quaint cabin on the river edge. It is an older resort but has everything you need, great showers and facilities. Really lovely owners and a pristine location (no cell or wifi) even my teenagers...

Went to Dansey's Pass for my son's wedding. The Old Coach Inn did us proud. The service was outstanding and the food was of very high quality including the generous canapés, tasty main course and after meal cheese board. We would enthusiastically recommend the Old Coach Inn to anyone wanting a remote location steeped in history.
