Highlight of our stay in the South Island. Cozy apartment in the barn stocked with delicious breakfast and fresh fruit in a beautiful setting. Wonderful hosts who provide bicycles and restaurant recommendations to make your stay even better.

Beautiful, private accommodations, set among the vineyards and a stone fruit orchard. Within biking distance of several great wineries in the Blenheim area. Short drive to Renwick and Blenheim for restaurants and grocery stores. Peter and Trish are extremely accommodating and took care to ensure we had a great stay, providing local recommendations and even offered to make us a...

Our two couples stayed in the Barn, where we were provided with generous quantities of food for breakfast. The setting at Ryland Estate could not be equaled anywhere in Marlborough. Peter and Trish are wonderful gardeners and the surrounding fruit trees and garden provide a tranquil home in the middle of Wine Country in Marlborough. We highly recommend staying here...

This is a beautiful setting, but what makes it really special is how accommodating Peter and Trish are. We arrived late, but that didn't faze them. They also booked dinner for us and even dropped us off at the restaurant. Then the next day they let us have a very late checkout. Lovely decor and wee touches like chocolates and...

Earlier this month I stayed at Ryland Estate with my husband and 18 month old toddler. Ryland Estate was the perfect place to relax and experience the wineries. With plenty of space, my little one could run around in the gardens during the day and the rooms were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this B&B if you have a...

We stayed in the barn which was akin to staying in a self catering cottage. Breakfast is provided, both cereals, plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurts and ingredients for cooked breakfasts. Peter and Trish are well-travelled and the spacious accommodation is full of interesting artifacts. The gardens are lovely and peaceful and the verandah with chairs and loungers allows one to...

We stayed in The Barn - we had booked the Cottage which is attached to the owners' house but, because there was no one booked into the Barn, we were upgraded at no extra cost. The Barn is situated in a beautiful garden near other vineyards and within an orchard. There is a spacious lunge and kitchen with a very...

We enjoyed our stay very much. The accomodation is beautifully located in Trish and Peter's gorgeous gardens, breakfast was delicious!! Thanks a lot. Although we only spent one night we felt at once like home by the warm welcome and the interesting insights in NZ's history and current affairs. We can definitely recommend staying with them.

We have just had 3 nights at Ryland Estate and enjoyed it immensely. The accommodation is great, if a little cluttered ,(don't stay in the barn if you can't manage stairs) but what made it so enjoyable for the 4 of us, was the hospitality of Peter and Trish. We enjoyed produce from the garden including salad to have with...
