John and Paulette were attentive to our needs and provided lively conversation and insights into the NZ way of life right from our arrival until the moment we left. Eating together with your hosts enables you to get in depth information about the area and tips on how to make the most of your stay. We chose to rent bikes...

The house, the location, John and Paulette, were all just amazing!! First off, if this was a small shack, I would still highly rate this place because Paulette and John were a perfect representation of why you want to stay in a B&B, which is to meet amazing local people. I can't say enough nice things about this couple, but...

What a beautiful home to stay in, we just wished we had been booked in for a longer stay. From start to finish it was just a luxury experience with very genuine and friendly hosts and all the little touches made it special including home baked biscuits and complimentary sherry and port. Gardens were beautifully kept and obviously a lot...

My wife and I recently received a weekend getaway to Stonehaven and as we have never stayed at a home stay before we were a bit dubious. Im pleased to say John & Paulette were excellent hosts making us feel welcome straight away! Stonehaven is a lovely property surrounded by vines and stunning views. Stonehaven is not a part of the vineyard, it is a stand alone property surrounded by a working vineyard. The rooms are beautiful, Paulette was a great host and her cooking was lovely. Good location for Marlborough sightseeing and arts

If you're looking for an upscale homestay / B+B, I doubt you could do much better anywhere than spending some time at Stonehaven. Surrounded by beautiful vineyards and immaculate gardens, the house, and bedroom we stayed in (king bed), was superb. John and Paulette made us (and our fellow guests) feel immediately at home and were exceptionally helpful in recommending...

A lovely place to stay in the heart of the wineries. The welcome by John and Paulette was second to none and the food and wine was of 'Fine Dining' quality. There are only two rooms for guests, but both are very good. We would highly recommend staying here.

Stonehaven is a lovely house set in the heart of the Marlborough wine region. John and Paulette made the stay wonderful, and we were delighted to be able to spend the two nights with them in between touring the (unbelievably) numerous wineries! Rooms were very clean with lovely complementary touches, and we were given excellent ideas for sightseeing and wineries....

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the Queen Pohutukawa Room and we just loved it. The location was picturesque and idyllic, our room was cosy and spotlessly clean with a modern ensuite, and John and Paulette were the perfect hosts and conversationalists. Breakfast was a feast with our choice of lots of cereal/muesli and homemade rhubarb compote,...
