My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our all-too-brief stay at this beautiful B&B. Our bedroom was most comfortable as was the guest parlor. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a wonderful place to stay in Christchurch.

Very helpful and flexible hosts who are familiar with handling new arrivals and imminent departures. Excellent breakfast - anything you want. Dog and cat included. Only downside is no off-street parking; but you can park right outside the front gate.

We only had to look at the front of the house with dog on the porch to know we would like it. We liked it so much that we booked a second stay for the last night of our tour through New Zealand. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Full English breakfast was excellent. The gardens looked lovely. Couldn't be...

We stayed for one night at the end of our trip in the attic room. Although the family have access to the hallway between the room and its bathroom we didn't find this to be a problem and we felt that we had sufficient privacy. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The B&B is pretty informal - it's very much a...

A great B&B in a beautiful neighbourhood . The beds slept great and even had an electric blanket! The bathroom was also very nice, there was even floorheating. The shampoo smelled good. And the breakfast was delicious. Especially the fresh made waffle with banana and maple syrup. The owners are very nice and helpful people. It was unfortunate that we...

Very charming bead and breakfast with cozy amenities. The bathroom floor is heated and offers plenty of cozy touches. The host are great as well. They were very friendly and helpful to us, giving us recommendations and advice. The breakfast is also very good.

Sadly we spent only one night at this friendly, comfortable and spotlessly clean B&B. As with the rest of our 2 week whistle-stop tour of NZ's fabulous South Island there was just not enough time for more! This was a lovely place to spend our last night in your beautiful country. We would thoroughly recommend this B&B and will certainly...

We stayed in the Garden Room. This was not particularly spacious but was clean and nicely decorated in keeping with the Victorian boutique style of the rest of the house. The bathroom was adjacent rather than en suite but was enormous! The house had lovely gardens and we had a very pleasant breakfast. Parking is on-street but plentiful.

Our bed in the "attic" was very comfortable and ensuite bathroom modern and well equipped. Breakfast was wonderful. Home has fun pieces and was delightful to enjoy. Some restaurants close by. A very enjoyable stay.

We booked the garden room for the first two nights of our 3 week holiday to the South Island of New Zealand and requested the use of two bikes over our stay. The whole house is beautiful and as we left two golden retrievers at home it was a joy to see their lovely dog. We used the bikes to...

“As long as you can negotiate stairs the attic room with adjoining bathroom and king-sized bed is ideal. The room has a delightful south-facing view over the surrounding gardens in this very attractive suburb with the hills in the distance. There's a refreshing breeze and it is very quiet.”
