The rooms at Argyle on the Park are good. The bedroom is large and the loungeroom/dining/kitchenette has plenty of space. I found the toilet/bathroom area a bit tight but it did not detract from our experience. The host is friendly and happy to help with anything.

The room was spacious and all-inclusive, the provided amenities were perfect, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The location can't be beat: right beside the beautiful city park, near the botanic gardens. Plenty to eat and drink nearby, too! A perfect place to push off on our cycle tour from!

As a regular visitor to Christchurch I always stay at Argyle on The Park. The rooms are clean and well appointed, with SKY TV, and the hosts are warm and friendly. Right across the road from Hagley Park, I also enjoy walking around the beautiful park every morning. Located right in the heart of Christchurch, it is a hard place...

We stayed two nights and found the accommodation just great. Good sitting area, comfy bedroom and full kitchen. Just round the corner to a variety of eating places. It's near Hagley Park which is lovely. And a bonus for us was a complimentary ride to the train station for the TranzAlpine on the morning we left. Lovely people running the...

Location is quick and easy to find from the airport. We arrived late and our flight was further delayed,  but the host was very friendly and accommodating with instructions. Older-style motel,  but very clean and great for a single night stay. 4 star rating for the service, nice welcome to NZ!

Peter and Lena provide excellent customer service including pickup and dropoff from/to Christchurch railway station. Conveniently located for a walk through the botanical gardens to tourist attractions such as the museum and Avon river punting. The tram ride, and Gondola tour pickup starts opposite the museum, while the Cathedral square is just a 5 minute walk ahead from the museum....

This motel is kept up very well. The room had three beds, a kitchen, two Tuva, a sitting area, and a bathroom. It was basically a furnished one-bedroom apartment with an extra bed in the living room. They had a complimentary pick-up from the train station. We even got a ride to one of the tram stops. They also stored...
