The owner was very friendly on check in. The one bed unit was quite spacious. A bit dated inside, but looks like they are renovating some of the units. The shower had poor water pressure. Kitchenette was well equipped with hot plates and a microwave. Despite being on a busy road due to the layout, the rooms are very quiet...

Thank you for your comments. Our renovations are coming along nicely and we will discuss the water pressure with our plumber. Great to hear you were happy with your stay. We look forward to your next visit.

Arrived at about 1130pm to very friendly notes on our doors with keys attached. Always had a nice chat with the owner on the times we saw her at reception. Very accommodating & helpful, rooms were everything we needed and the location was fine for us to walk to the city each day. Definitely recommend.

Thank you Aotea for accommodating us at the last minute after family wedding in July and being available to meet our requirements of a second night at a moments notice. Truly appreciated the effort made to make sure we were warm enough, thank you. Room was a bit dated but reflected in the affordability, was clean and comfy.

I booked the morning of my stay as I had a work dinner in town and didn't want to drive after a few drinks (45min) and the wonderful hostess made me feel like i was welcome and not just a pain... Easy booking and clean tidy room. I'll be back... thank you

About the fourth time I've stayed here. Just fantastic as usual. Annette bent over backwards to help us out with an extra room. Always friendly and they have the best beds ever. Wouldn't stay anywhere else while in Christchurch.

First experience of a Motel in NZ. Clean and tidy with comfortable queen sized bed but decor a bit shabby hence 3*s. Adequate space and similarly equipped to other Motels used subsequently. Good location and within walking distance of a supermarket. Owners were very helpful when first aid was needed.

We were moved to this accommodation when our original motel double booked their property. We had no idea what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen facilities great. yes, rooms were small, but it was all we needed as we were out exploring Christchurch all day. Owners were very helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.

The accommodation here is basic. If all you are after is somewhere to spend the night then you're in luck. I wouldn't recommend a stay of any length though. The rooms are clean although things are quite tight. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Room 10 is next to the stairs to the top level and can be a...

One of the worst places I have stayed. Old frayed curtains carpets minimal cleaning. Hot noisy. Hard old beds. Horrible. No soap minimal towels. Scary stairs to upstairs level. Powerpoints in all the wrong places. No room in the bathroom. You can't dry your hair in front of any mirror as no power point.
