We were very lucky to stay in unit one for two nights as for us this was the pick of the units as Riccarton road is a very busy road. The unit has been refurbished and is very clean and comfortable. but there was no mirror in the bathroom, you could see where it had been but it hadn't been...

I love the cleanliness of the room, and friendliness of the manager of this motel. Room is spacious, enough for a family of 5 to stay in. The room looks like it had just been refurbished and the cleanliness is top notch. The place is located a short 10min drive to the city centre, and also a short 10min drive...

Our first night after travelling across the ditch. The person at the front desk was very accommodating and showed us to our room efficiently. We needed some internet and even though we had to pay for it, it was $5 per 1Gb which was really all we needed and not so bad in comparison to some other places. Had no...

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the managers very helpful. When booking, I asked for a room away from the road, and this was organised with no problems. Probably the most comfortable motel bed I've ever experienced. Unit was a "studio", but sufficient for our needs. Only comments I would make is that it is starting to look...

Clean, comfortable and recently refurbished accommodation. Conveniently located to restaurants, Westfield (massive!) shopping centre and restaurants including Robbies. Marina is a happy, welcoming & responsive host (her husband was away while we were in Christchurch). Road noise not noticeable. A relaxing and good value for money place to stay. Easy bus access to & from Christchurch CBD.

We were a bit concerned about the road noise mentioned in other reviews but were given room 1 at the back of complex and found it quiet. Terry and Marina were very nice. The room was clean and tidy, bed very comfortable. The shower altered in temperature a bit and the microwave did not work but would stay again.

Found for us by tourist in formation at Wellington. Was clean but overall everything looked dated compared with other motels we had stayed in. Close to some restaurants and a 5 min drive to the railway station which was reason for visiting christchursch to go on Tranz alpine train ( amazing). Near to a busy road but did not bother...

Very nice motel, rooms very clean and well set out, beds very comfortable. The Proprietors were very lovely people and very helpful. On a busy road but didn't notice any noise. Shops nearby and bus a 100 meters down the road. The only downside, which isn't very much really, is the single bed was up against the window so we...

Clean and quiet even though it is on a busy road. Also handy to shops and not far from the CBD. Good parking right outside your room. We only spent one night there and it was quite adequate for our needs. There was a bed in the lounge which I slept in so I didn't have to listen to my...

Positive side first, location wise, distance to the airport was good, 10 minutes drive only. Restaurants across the road, but there are a better selection about 3 min up Riccarton road. BUT, don't bother if you want a reasonably comfortable stay. We got put in the room right next to the road while the other rooms did not look occupied....
