Our room was mediocre and the hotel location is not ideal. The staff doesn’t have up to date information about tourist sites. Instead, they point you to old brochures.
But the reason I think you should skip this hotel if you have a choice is...More
Stayed for 1 night. Close to city centre. Huge room but very sparsley furnished, seemed very bland and impersonal. Biggest complaint is that there was no complimentary water in the room; this definitely loses it points. Nice bathroom but they could have made it bigger...More

I am not aware of a free hotel shuttle but taxis are usually easy to catch and the distance is not too far. if there are five of you I would contact blue bubble taxis over the internet or ask the hotel to arrange one for you and ask for a taxi van. the cost will probably be less than a shuttle per person when you have 5 people. although i travel for business I wouldn't contemplate another option and wouldn't use either a shuttle or bus unless I couldn't get a taxi van. nz taxis are generally pretty honest and will be metered so no fare shenanigans.
