Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was clean and cosy. Communal showers were nice and adequate. Has all the facilities. Has nice sized common areas and push bikes available to hire to get you around. Would stay here again

It’s just a whole lot of fun to stay as if we were inmates in a prison. But apart from that this place is really cool as well. The people at check in are very friendly, showed where to go around, cool places to eat and all that friendly advice. The rooms were actual prison cells but of course without...

What a cool concept! Its very different from your usual hostel and worth checking out even if you don't plan to stay here As a hostel its very modern, very clean and very cool. The unlimited free wifi is big bonus too. Some of the rooms were small (hey its a prison) but the big dorm I stayed in was...

Super quirky. Clean. Good facilities. It's a great all rounder. Only downside is that it's quite far to the city centre. It's literally an old prison and they really go with the theme. Of course this also means you'll be staying in a jail cell, but the beds are comfortable so there's nothing to worry about. Good showers.

My second stay here, staff are very friendly, showers and kitchen clean. I just had a day each time passing through but would happily stay longer. I had a two bed dorm only two power points but for two people this is fine. Comfy bed and warm duvet cover. Internet worked well on my stay i even had reception in...

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed very clean and friendly staff. Good kitchen and facilities. Also the history of being and old jail adds to the experience of staying. A good mix of young and old travellers. Keep up the good work Jailhouse team 😎👍🏻

Stayed for a couple of nights in a 2 bed female dorm. The staff are super friendly, the place is really clean and the wifi actually works! There are a few different chill out areas when you don't want to be confined to your cell ;) About 30 mins walk to the botanic gardens and there are restaurants/cafes nearby

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of January and would highly recommended. Aside from being a very quirky hostel set in a converted jail it's got a good feel about it. Really clean even in the communal showers and toilets. We had a private double room which was clean and surprisingly cosy for a jail cell. About...
