Although up a gravel driveway it is still easily accessible in a two wheel drive car. It is in a lovely spot with gardens and farm animals. The host was very nice and served up a good continental breakfast. Our only recommendation would be going into winter that the heating in the room needs to be improved as it was...

This B&B is not the property by the roadside of Malvern Street. We have to search for it by driving up a steep gravel road for about half a km. B & B is just like a farm house surrounded by garden and trees. There are a few rooms. Room is clean but small. Door has no lock and no...

We were excited about this location based on what we had read on reviews. We were a little disappointed with the surrounding location. There is a gravel road that runs behind some not so well maintained homes and no signs to let you know you are going the right way. We were a little concerned about what we had gotten...

The drive was a little gravelly and steep, but well worth it as the B&B is really charming. We had to be very careful to not run over any of the ducklings and chicks, but successfully managed that. The rooms was clean, comfortable and had great views of the hills and valley. The owners were great to talk to and...

Rooms are clean, the property beautiful, owners are really great and the (dutch) cheese is like at home! Also there are a lot of animals. Breakfast is served in the owners kitchen, really nice place to meet other guests and exchange tips. We loved it.

We are 2months on way but we never visited so nice and quiet B&B. Its a little farm up on the hill with cows, sheep and ducks, rooms clean and quiet, breakfast delicious and owners very nice. We were lucky and didnt have any neighbours so it was the best night after long time. We could feed animals and play with...

I recently stayed at Leithview Bed & Breakfast in Dunedin. The place was charming and although the road to the property is steep and unsealed, the view from the top is worth the effort. Peter the owner, who is also a talented artist, checked us in to our room. It was small but perfectly adequate for our 1 night stay....

Up a steep private lane way about 5 minutes from Dunedin central is Leithview & what a beautiful property ran by lovely people. Me, my partner & our dog were warmly welcomed, shown to a lovely room, had a great nights sleep & a great breakfast the following morning with truly warm & generous hosts. Will be back again (just...

Location really handy to city/sights but has good rural feel - best of both worlds. Very hospitable & friendly hosts, clean rooms, lovely breakfast, kids had a go at milking cows - way better than staying in a motel. Would definitely return - cheese making course would be a good reason to rebook

To start with, the description of the farm stay experience on the website is thoroughly misleading. I mean what do you even mean by lifestyle property. The rooms are kind of small and definitely not worth the amount they charge you. You can stay at a good 4 * plus hotel at the same amount or even slightly lesser. The...
