Stayed at this B & B In March. A beautiful house with huge vistas of countryside and animals. Our bedroom was luxurious and very comfortable, the bathroom was heated (a rarity, we found in NZ) and beautifully finished. We had use of a very comfortable lounge and dining room and free internet access. Breakfasts were especially yummy. Peter makes ace... More

Our last two days were spent with Di and Peter and we were made so welcome we did not want to leave New Zealand. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed and easy going style in their home and had a superb dinner with four other guests on our last night. We would recommend this location to anyone visiting the Dunedin area.

Nothing is too much trouble for Di and Peter, who are great hosts at this wonderful B&B. We found their company delightful, their food and wine stupendous, the accommodation very clean and comfortable, and the views from the hill superb. Peter's Eco tour was extremely enjoyable and informative, and tailored to our interests and wishes. Even after we left we... More

The desire by the owners to create a welcoming, relaxed and homely environment whilst giving the guests privacy and luxury was successfully done. We felt welcome but not beholden, relaxed, well fed and watered. A quiet and beautiful retreat and yet close to the city. The cooking was excellent and the owners knowledge of the local wines and environment made... More

This is our second time at the Highland Peaks since we discovered it a couple of years ago. It is truly a gem of a place with fantastic views only surpassed by the warmth and graciousness of its hosts, Peter and Di. Highland Peaks is 15 minutes from the heart of Dunedin and yet seems "away from it all" in... More

We stayed 2 nights with our hosts Di & Peter. They are extremely friendly and welcoming, bending over backwards to help their visitors with planning their days etc in the Dunedin area and beyond. A splendid Eco-Friendly house with fantastic outlook, very comfortable and well designed rooms and bathrooms. Both Di and Peter enjoy cooking for their guests and we... More

Highland Peaks introduced us to New Zealand, and assured love at first sight. By every measure - - welcome, comfort, luxury, location, view, hospitality, food, wine, local guidance and pride of place, all on offer with genuine kindness - - Highland Peaks and its wonderful proprietors, Peter and Di, have created a gem. The hospitality began before we even arrived.... More

Peter and Di run a beautiful Bed and Breakfast, HIghland Peaks, near Dunedin, NZ and they allow their sheep to die of old age. There is no window that lacks a spectacular view.
