Country Location, on a working farm, this is a pleasant place to spend a day or two in peaceful surroundings. Take all food supplies with you. The kitchen is small, but adequate -- if everyone takes their turn and does not "hog" the limited facilities. Some may find the separation of bedroom chalets and ablution block a little discomfitting, especially...

Spent a night in one of the cabins on this site enroute to Bluff. The site itself is very well maintained and looked after, as are the facilities including kitchen and unisex amenities, with plenty of hot water. The site was quiet on my stay with only a couple of other people staying. The twin cabin I had was clean...

Was in Invercargill for a quick interview and LOVED this place! Handy to town, the most beautiful location and gardens, really friendly kind owner. Extra bits and pieces like hairdryers ironing area and full length mirror were helpful. Very very clean, warm, good showers, slept so well!! Back soon! Thanks so much.

The room was brilliant. It was made up to look like a granny flat and was so cute. We just smiled the whole time we were there. The bed and whole room was comfortable and easy to spend the weekend in. The surroundings of the countryside was excellent and we had different animals to look out at in the paddock...

We just used the campground and not the available cabins. You can freely choose a campgsite. The facilities do not provide shower cabins but whole bathrooms where you can enjoy a warm shower. We really appreciated the environmental efforts taken by the owners e.g. the waste separation and they asked us to collect the cold water in the shower while...

Don't let the fact that this lovely campground is situated about 10 kilometres out of Invercargill put you off staying there! Karen and her staff will make you more than welcome and will do anything to make your stay a great experience. This park has lovely clean toilets and showers and a great laundry. It has a small but very...

Was doing some touring with some friends and didn't really have high hopes for anything in the Invercargill region. Anyway, checked the Lorneville and got into a 1970s themed chalet complete with record player (and records), mandatory brown sofa and orange carpets. Very clean and tastefully done, everything worked just fine. In the morning, opened the curtains to find sheep...

We arrived at Lorneville quite late, but keys and a map left by this place's extremely helpful and welcoming host directed us to our cosy bunk-room. The beds were comfortable, the water in the showers hot and the kitchen well-equipped with all handy utensils provided. What is especially good about this place is the resource-saving measures in place to help...

We stayed in a 4 bed room at this holiday park after a hike and liked the well stocked communal kitchen, the excellent laundry and drying facilities and supplied linen at the accommodation. There's lots of space and grassed areas, plus of course the alpacas and sheep. Lorneville is run by Karen who is a super hostess and always generous...
