We arrived in Invercargill during a rain and wind storm. We had just visited Bluff, at the bottom of the New Zealand South Island, having driven from Queenstown. The hotel is old, it smells old and looks old but it was clean and very presentable. It is managed by a young couple who are ernest and dedicated to their task....

This place is a real treat. Gorgeous heritage building, full of old world charm inside with lovely decorative touches in the rooms. The staff were fantastic and made us feel really welcome. We enjoyed chatting with them in the bar and their dinner recommendation was spot on.

Lovely little place. Room was cozy and clean. I loved the bone china tea cups in the room. Very quaint. The manager was a wealth of information for us and gave us some great tips on where to eat. (Restaurant was closed over our stay)

Sought this accommodation primarily due to its location (business trip) and was pleased to find plenty of free (reserved) parking (once I'd asked where the parking was). I was taken personally to my room (up 2 flights of stairs) and gained access to my little corner room. The decor is in keeping with the style of the hotel (definately not...

All facilities were OK, room was comfortable, warm and clean, large modern bathroom - unfortunately poor protection from noise - single glassed windows and paper thin walls: I had impression sleeping on the street and I could clearly hear both of my neighbours (walking, talking, shower, toilet) errrr- really...
