My husband and I stayed here for three nights while exploring Queenstown. It was very comfortable. You did have to walk upstairs to our room but we were okay with this. We were struggling to get on the NZ time zone and it was very quiet which we enjoyed. Our room had a kitchenette which was quite large. The caretakers...

If you're travelling to queenstown you should know that the city is fairly small and parking spaces are few and far between (and expensive!) so it's generally good to be within walking distance. Amity lodge is a short walk away, albeit up a steep slope, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it very much....

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Slightly outside of the town so it's quiet and it takes only 5min to the town centre (though takes a little longer on the way back as is slight uphill). If you take the bus to/from airport, there's a bus stop right outside so no need to walk to town. Convenient and has...

Doug and Jo are so welcoming! We're a family of 4 and they welcomed us with amazing humor and great information of Queenstown. It's a 5min walk to downtown. The 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and very clean. The cleaners do a great job! The Britannia restaurant as Doug and Jo suggested was amazing!! Get the Lamb Rack as Doug...

Australian travelers. Stayed for multiple nights. Over $200/nt. Our most expensive place in 21 days. Typical Queenstown though, it appears. Supply n demand! Downstairs large apartment with separate main bedroom. Fold out couch was uncomfortable for even a slightly built teenager. Had to put the "mattress" on the ground each night. Views out the front of the gondola and the...

Hello Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Pull out sofa beds are never as comfortable as a real bed (a single bed was available in the bedroom for your son to use). The rate that you paid of just over $200 for a 4 star motel, works out at around $70 per person - not bad...

At this risk of parroting the multiple previous positive reviews, this is a place that gets everything right. It's not necessarily hip nor trendy, but it is impeccably clean, completely equipped, well located, and the hosts are absolutely wonderful. Although Queenstown has changed immensely in the 30 years I've been coming here (and not necessarily for the better), the Amity...

Jo and Doug are truly wonderful hosts. Smiles, chat, and ultra passionate about Queenstown. We stayed at the beginning and end of our Otago experience. Both immaculate units, had their own special furnishings. The bedroom, ensuite and kitchen had everything! Even a rice cooker! It was an easy walk to town and all tourist amenities. Free wi fi, free parking!...
