What a fabulous apartment we stayed in. Awesome views, well appointed, comfortable beds and linen. Great bathroom ammenities and loved the tablet instead of paper.. staff for check in and check out great and helpful. But breakfast not so good.. because?? Food in the baymarie was empty the 2 mornings we visited the restaurant and we waited for some time...

The Rees was an excellent base for our 5 days in Queenstown. The 2 bed lake facing apartment was great for us as a family of 4 (kids aged 11 and 12) Spending nearly 3 weeks in NZ - the separate washer and dryer and washing powder was well used. The apartment was modern, well equipped, comfortable and clean. Fireplace...

Booked a 6-night stay at The Ree's largely on the basis of their Trip Advisor reviews. Totally lived up to their reviews. Reception and concierge staff were all extremely helpful. Stayed in a one- bedroom apartment, and the room was shiny, new, and fabulously appointed with much custom built furniture. Bed was very comfy and bathroom with heated towel rail...

Hey, the cold weather wasn't the Rees fault. Great stay here in a hotel room, not the apartment. Wonderful view of the lake and The Remarkables across the water. It's about 7 minute drive to the downtown area where there's plenty of parking or you can take the free shuttle that runs every hour. Didn't try the restaurant. The concierge...

Undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Queenstown. I has spacious rooms, well appointed bathrooms and decent sized balconies which offer either a lake our mountain view. The staff are very helpful and attentive and if you don't feel like strolling the 20 minute walk along the lake side path into town the courtesy mini-bus is very convenient.

When we assessed our stay at The Rees, it was a mixed bag. Of our 10 nights in NZ, it was the closest to what I would call a "normal" hotel; regular amenities, no default strange kitchen, a front desk that was always contactable (!) and decent, friendly staff. And a bar! The vistas are the reason to stay here,...

We spent two nights here and liked the place. It's relatively new and has some good kiwi architecture and construction techniques going on. Our room was large and very comfortable with a big balcony with lovely views over the Frankton Arm to the Remarkable's. It's handy to town - we walked one morning on the Frankton Track which was a...

What luxury! Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Spacious room and bathroom. Great balcony although not as private as I would have liked. Hotel is about 3kms out of the city but they run a shuttle every hour (and by appointment) into Queenstown. Situated on the edge of the lake so there are views of both mountains and...

Stayed a couple of nights at the Rees Apartments. It is very modern and smart. We were given a 2 bed apartment for 2 of us on level 2 which was very confusing to get to. We had to change lifts on the way down or up. Great views though, from all rooms. We decided to use the shuttle service...

This hotel is very comfortable and rooms are nicely furnished. The foyer is gorgeous and makes you want to spend the day sitting in one of the leather chairs looking at mountains. The room service menu is pretty good and varied. The shuttle bus to town which runs on the hour is very convenient. Definitely stay here again and recommend...
