It's the highest rated BBH hostel in Queenstown, and for good reason, it's great! Free, unlimited, full speed wifi, free bike hire, spa, free coffee and tea, a buncha DVDs to watch...tons of stuff! Staff are really friendly and helpful, and the guests were all super cool as well. They attract a good crowd here! It has 3 good size...

Been a while since I stayed here, but have only recently started writing reviews, so thought I better leave one here! This place has a really friendly feel but yet still have the exciting vibe you would expect in Queenstown. It is a 2 minute walk to everything so you can go for a few beers and come back to...

As soon as I arrived the staff were extremely welcoming, getting me checked in, telling me all about the hostel.and local area, providing free Wifi codes and giving me the tour. Flaming Kiwi has been my favourite hostel so far! Mainly been staying in Base and Nomads but thankfully got a space in the Kiwi when I arrived in Queenstown. Straight away everyone was super nice, really helpful and friendly staff and guests. The bedrooms are so good with plugs next to the bed and everything is always clean. Also love...

I've stayed in hostels all over the world and the flaming kiwi is one of the best I have ever been to. This is mainly due to the atmosphere created by the layout of the hostel and the friendliness of the staff. The hostel is in the perfect location, just a 5 minute walk from town and round the corner...

One of the most comfortable hostels I have stayed in while traveling NZ. Everything about the hostel is nice and homely, including a very relaxed lounge area. There are loads of amenities so you can do your laundry, rent bikes (for free!) or even rent some frisbees (also for free!) to practice the most important sport in Queenstown, Frisbee golf....

In a country where everyone is helpful and friendly, Flaming Kiwi Backpackers manages to stand a step above the rest. I've stayed 6 nights so far and will be returning soon for another 2. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and the dorms are well equipped and spacious with storage areas and plenty of power outlets by each bed. 3...

The Flaming Kiwi is an awesome place to stay in Queenstown, the location's superb, just a couple of minutes walk to town, yet far enough out that you avoid the noise and hustle and bustle from the hundreds of tourists. The hostel is kept immaculately clean, it seems to be a non stop operation with people cleaning round the clock....
