Needs a good tidy up and upgrading. The rooms were shabby and out of date. Curtains did not meet in the middle in our room. paint flaking in areas, door handles the paint was well worn through round the coridor doors handles. Generally looks old and tired.

Stayed here for 4 nights in October. It is a little way out of Queenstown, and while there is a shuttle service to and from the town, we had not reason to use this service as we had a car. The car was the essential tool for getting around to Arrowtown, wineries, and other locations, and I would not stay...

Thank you for taking the time with your feedback Certainly we make sure the shuttle service is available for our guests into town and back again and we did run a shuttle to Coronet Peak during the snow season We have nearly completed our plans for renovation and we look forward to this being completed in the next 12 months...

What a lovely surprise to come back to this bowling alley and get outstanding service. I've been here before and the lady behind the till was extremely rude!! To go back and be greeted with a smiley happy Irish chap made up for the bad past experience.

We booked it on the spot after arriving to Queenstown. The staff is very polite and helpful. We also like the bowling and bar. The shuttle services to towns is awesome. Only problem was WiFi speed which hopefully be solved.

Our room was spotless and it was a great budget option for QT. The free shuttle to town was excellent. The only downside was that the heating goes off when you leave the room because you have to take the key out of the power slot. It was mild when we were there but so not a massive issue for...

Thank you for taking the time to put forward your comments I am pleased the complimentary shuttle worked for you and we will certainly look at the heater issue as that is not the way I believed it worked. Thank you for bringing it to our attention Grant Gaskin General Manager

This hotel probably hasn't been updated since the 90's (and that might be generous) but it is one of the cheaper accommodations in Queenstown and in that regard, it's a pretty good value. All of your basic needs are met--a clean room, hot water, place to sleep. There are also a few amenities like a small bowling alley and arcade...

Pros: Large room. Good shower pressure. Close proximity to Arrowtown and Queenstown. Friendly helpful staff. Very picturesque setting overlooking the mountains. Cons: My room had blood stains on window sill and stained carpets. Bed sagged so not good nights sleep. Put coins into washing machine but it was broken. NO sign to say out of order. What can I say! We had trouble entering the entrances of the hotel due to the road race that used the premises as a exchange station; but we managed to find the receptionist. We had great service from the staff. The hotel was clean however there were roof and carpet stains that showed this ship has seen better days. Character...
